Recently, Zowell Intelligent Forklift team visited a pharmaceutical company client who purchased two of our three-way man-down forklifts(VDA). These forklifts have been in use in the client's warehouse for eight months.

This client primarily operates in pharmaceutical retail and is a highly competitive company in the industry. They have diversified operations nationwide, including professional pharmacies, convenience stores, clinics, and health check centers, and have gained a stable customer base through their professionalism and high-quality service.
Faced with increasingly sophisticated consumer demands, the client company has increased its import of non-pharmaceutical products and imported goods, diversifying its product categories. However, this expansion and fragmented order volume have brought significant challenges to warehousing and logistics.
Compared to ordinary companies, the pharmaceutical industry has higher requirements for storage environment, space utilization, and logistics speed. This client urgently needs to upgrade its logistics processes to improve warehousing and logistics efficiency while ensuring the cleanliness and purity of pharmaceuticals.

01 Insufficient Storage Space With the expansion of its product line, the original storage space capacity has reached its limit. The company urgently needs to optimize its storage structure and increase storage space.

02. Low Warehouse Efficiency: With numerous pharmaceutical SKUs and disorganized storage, coupled with limitations imposed by production batches and expiration dates, a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system is required, making the pharmaceutical storage and retrieval process complex. Furthermore, the limited load capacity and speed of vehicles hinder order delivery speed.

Zowell, based on customer needs and an analysis of the warehouse structure and site conditions, helped the customer address logistical challenges with VDA. Zowell's forklifts are all electric, maintaining a clean and green pharmaceutical storage environment.
Based on Zowell, the customer converted ordinary shelving to narrow aisle shelving, reducing the aisle width to 1650mm, saving lateral space, and adding multiple rows of shelving. Even with limited warehouse height, warehouse capacity still increased by nearly 60%.
Zowell recommended that the customer clearly define the location of goods and introduce a professional WMS (Warehouse Management System) for refined management of pharmaceutical and storage location information. This allows forklift operators to quickly and accurately locate pharmaceutical storage positions, reducing wasted time and significantly increasing the daily volume of pharmaceuticals handled.
When performing storage and retrieval operations, VDA only needs to rotate 180° to easily access both sides of the rack. With a maximum travel speed of 5 km/h within the aisle, it significantly improves overall logistics efficiency and upgrades order delivery capabilities for customers!
With ZOWELL's assistance, this pharmaceutical company successfully increased its warehouse capacity by nearly 60% while reducing inbound and outbound operation time, ensuring that medicines are stored systematically and delivered efficiently to the customer. The customer also gave satisfactory feedback: "Zowell's narrow aisle electric forklifts have brought us many conveniences. Large-tonnage medicines can be moved in one go, and the goods are handled very smoothly during the process, greatly improving our logistics efficiency! This cooperation gives us great confidence in future warehouse management!"
