Zowell AGV Forklifts Accelerate Digital Logistics Transformation for Leading Automaker
With the rapid advancement of intelligent manufacturing, the shortcomings of traditional manual logistics—such as high labor dependency, inconsistent efficiency, and elevated safety risks—have become increasingly evident.
By deploying unmanned logistics solutions like Zowell's AGV forklifts, enterprises can liberate frontline workers from repetitive tasks, reallocating them to higher-value, more complex roles. This shift not only minimizes human error and dramatically reduces safety incidents but also optimizes workflows, boosts throughput, and strengthens overall market competitiveness.
In the automotive sector, where precision, speed, and reliability are paramount, Zowell's intelligent AGV systems enable seamless, 24/7 material handling—driving true digital transformation and sustainable operational excellence.

Project Background
The client is a renowned automotive manufacturer, and this project is implemented at one of its major production bases. As production volumes continue to surge, the traditional logistics model has encountered substantial bottlenecks, including inefficiencies in material flow, labor dependency, and scalability constraints.
To overcome these challenges and achieve a comprehensive logistics upgrade, the client has partnered closely with Zowell Forklift's autonomous vehicle series. By deploying a fleet of advanced AGV forklifts, they have established an intelligent, end-to-end logistics system that seamlessly covers inbound receiving, internal transport, high-bay storage, and outbound operations.
This collaboration enables automated, precise, and 24/7 material handling—boosting throughput, enhancing safety, reducing manual intervention, and accelerating the client's digital transformation in intelligent manufacturing.

Zowell Solutions
Based on the customer's operating conditions and logistics requirements, Zhuoyi Intelligent Forklift conducted in-depth research and provided a highly customized intelligent logistics solution. The solution is centered on 13 reach trucks and combines the RCS central dispatch system and WMS warehouse management system to comprehensively upgrade warehouse logistics.

In terms of hardware configuration, Zowell Forklift has strategically deployed 13 reach-type AGV forklifts. Each vehicle has a maximum lifting height of 6.5 metres, enabling it to effortlessly handle high-bay shelving storage and retrieval requirements. Each forklift has a rated load capacity of 2 tonnes and is equipped with high-precision docking capabilities, making it capable of handling heavy components with ease. Each reach-type AGV forklift is specifically assigned to operate in a 55-metre-deep aisle. The vehicles are equipped with multiple obstacle-avoidance radars, enabling intelligent obstacle avoidance when encountering obstacles to ensure operational safety. Additionally, they automatically charge during idle periods based on task requirements, reducing reliance on human labour.

In terms of software systems, the project has established a comprehensive intelligent logistics system, integrating multiple systems such as the WMS Warehouse Management System, RCS Central Dispatch System, and manual call system. After the PDA issues inbound/outbound commands, the WMS Warehouse Management System receives the instructions and forwards them to the RCS Central Dispatch System. Vehicles then receive the dispatch instructions to complete the cargo storage, retrieval, and inbound/outbound processes. The system precisely monitors warehouse location information and shipping/receiving records throughout the process, thereby improving inventory counting efficiency and order traceability.
