The Three Questions Buyers Ask Before Choosing a Narrow Aisle Forklift | Meet Us in Shanghai

October 29, 2026

The first phase of the 138th Canton Fair closed on October 19. Over five days at Booth 9.0 C38, the Zowell team met buyers from across Europe, the Middle East, South Asia and the Americas, and came away with a clear picture of what the market is asking for.

What Buyers Wanted to Know

Three questions came up again and again, and none of them was really about price.

How narrow can the aisle go? Buyers arrived with aisle widths already measured and racking layouts already drawn. The conversation started at the tape measure, not the spec sheet.

How high can it stack? With land costs where they are, vertical space is the only capacity many warehouses have left to unlock.

How long until it arrives, and can it be adapted? Delivery scheduling, spare parts availability and the ability to modify a standard model for a specific aisle width or temperature range decided more projects than the quotation did.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked a hard question, or simply climbed into the cab to see how it felt.

Why These Three Beat Price

An inexpensive truck in the wrong aisle is the most expensive option available — it consumes the space it was meant to save, and it cannot be corrected without rebuilding the racking around it.  Aisle width, lift height and delivery certainty are not commercial details. They are the three variables that determine whether the project works at all.

Next Stop: Shanghai

Zowell will exhibit at CeMAT ASIA 2026, held from November 3 to 6 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, at Booth W5-B2-1.

CeMAT ASIA is one of the largest logistics technology and transportation systems exhibitions in Asia, bringing together equipment manufacturers, system integrators and warehouse operators from across the region.

At the booth, the Zowell team will present its narrow-aisle and electric warehouse equipment lineup, with live demonstrations and engineers on hand to discuss aisle layouts, lift heights, throughput requirements and cold storage configurations.

Free Ticket Before October 30

Visitor registration for CeMAT ASIA 2026 is free of charge until October 30, 2026. Scan the QR code on the invitation below to register and receive a free entry pass.

If you cannot make it to Shanghai, send us four details — usable aisle width, pallet specification and weight, racking levels and target lift height, and the temperature range of your facility — and we will prepare an initial proposal remotely.
