Zowell AGVs Empower Smart Logistics Transformation for a Leading E-Commerce Enterprise
In recent years, the rapid growth of global e-commerce has placed unprecedented demands on warehouse logistics, requiring faster response times, higher accuracy, and greater operational flexibility. As a key link in the e-commerce supply chain, warehouse operations must evolve toward automation, digitalization, and intelligence to meet rising market expectations. In this project, Zowell successfully delivered multiple MiNi-AGV stacker trucks to a leading domestic e-commerce enterprise in China, helping the customer establish a smart logistics system that significantly improves order processing speed, operational efficiency, and warehouse management accuracy. Customer Background The customer is a leading e-commerce enterprise with rapidly expanding order volumes and a wide range of SKUs. Its traditional warehouse model relied heavily on manual picking, manual shipping, and forklift-assisted pallet transportation, which gradually became a bottleneck for business growth. To maintain its competitive edge and support long-term development, the company actively pursued digital transformation and warehouse automation, aiming to build a modern, flexible, and intelligent logistics system capable of supporting high-frequency, large-scale order fulfillment. Project Challenges Low picking and handling efficiency: Manual operations struggled to cope with surging order volumes, resulting in longer processing cycles and increased labor intensity. Inefficient warehouse layout and routing: Disorganized travel paths led to excessive forklift movements, higher storage costs, and inefficient use of warehouse space. Rising labor costs: High dependence on manpower significantly increased operational expenses and limited scalability. Safety risks in man-machine collaboration: Mixed operations between workers and forklifts increased the risk of collisions and cargo damage. Zowell Smart AGV Solution Based on the customer’s operational needs and site conditions, Zowell designed a customized smart warehousing solution centered around MiNi-AGV mini stacker trucks and intelligent dispatching systems. Intelligent Routing & Dispatching System To optimize material flow, Zowell implemented fixed AGV travel routes combined with intelligent dispatching algorithms. By continuously tracking pickup and drop-off positions along predefined AGV paths, the system ensures accurate, safe, and damage-free transportation.
