Man-Up VNA Turret Forklifts Enable 13m High-Density Storage for a Leading Seasoning Manufacturer
Project Background In the seasoning industry, warehouse management models directly impact storage efficiency and order response speed. As market demand continues to grow, traditional storage methods often struggle to support fast business expansion and increasingly complex logistics operations. Recently, Zowell successfully delivered two man-up VNA turret forklifts to a leading seasoning manufacturer, helping the customer break through existing warehousing and logistics bottlenecks and achieve a comprehensive upgrade of their storage system. Customer Profile The customer is a well-known seasoning manufacturer with a product portfolio covering more than 70 product categories. Renowned for stable quality and strong brand recognition, its products are widely favored by consumers. With continuous business growth, the customer’s original floor stacking storage model gradually revealed its limitations in terms of storage capacity, operational efficiency, and order fulfillment speed. To overcome these challenges, the customer partnered with Zowell to develop a more efficient and scalable warehouse solution. Project Challenges Before the upgrade, the warehouse mainly relied on decentralized floor stacking, which resulted in several operational issues: Limited storage capacity: Low-level stacking prevented the use of vertical space, significantly restricting overall warehouse capacity. Disorganized storage layout: Lack of systematic location management made product searching difficult, leading to low picking efficiency. Slow order processing: Inefficient picking and transportation operations negatively impacted order fulfillment speed and delivery performance. Zowell Solution After a thorough site survey and workflow analysis, Zowell designed a customized logistics solution combining narrow aisle racking with man-up VNA turret forklifts, tailored specifically to the customer’s operational needs. The solution integrates high-level storage, order picking, and material handling into a single efficient system, significantly enhancing both space utilization and operational efficiency. Key Design Highlights Narrow aisle racking system with 1850 mm aisle width Multi-row racking layout with 13-meter storage height Two man-up VNA turret forklifts with 1.6-ton load capacity and 13 m lifting height This configuration enables high-density vertical storage, unlocking valuable warehouse space and supporting future business expansion. Implementation & Performance High-Density Storage Transformation The warehouse was fully transformed from floor stacking to a narrow aisle racking system, enabling multi-row 13-meter-high shelving within limited space. This upgrade significantly increased the number of usable pallet positions and maximized warehouse storage density. Equipped with Zowell man-up VNA turret forklift...
